This Bachmann HO Scale Siemens SC-44 Charger with WOWSound® and DCC is based on the modern fleet of high-speed passenger diesel locomotives delivered to Amtrak and numerous commuter rail agencies beginning in 2017. Designed and built by Siemens Mobility, the 4,400-horsepower SC-44 Charger represents the standard for contemporary North American passenger power. Additional variants of the Charger platform include the long-distance ALC-42 for Amtrak and the SC-42 ordered by VIA Rail Canada. Bachmann’s SC-44 Charger has been developed using original Siemens design documentation and prototype field recordings to deliver exceptional realism in both appearance and sound.
