This ready-to-run N Scale 50' Boxcar with 8' Plug Door, No Roofwalk and Short Ladders from Micro-Trains features an injection-molded styrene body, a heavy die cast lowered underframe for realistic ride height, free-rolling Delrin(R) trucks with contoured axles and body-mounted Magne-Matic(R) magnetic knuckle couplers. Other features include detailed separate fine-profile foot stirrups, shortened ladders and brakewheel. Patterned after cars introduced in the 1950s and modernized in the 1960s and 1970s as roofwalks were removed for increased safety, this 50' Plug-Door Boxcar is an ideal addition to diesel-era freight consist.
